Microgreen growers of Melbourne, grown sustainably & locally in Eltham.
What are Microgreens? They are young vegetable greens that are only a few centimetres tall, with an aromatic flavor, coming in a variety of colors and textures they contain a concentrated nutrient content.
Despite their small size, microgreens pack a nutritional punch, often containing higher nutrient levels than more mature vegetable greens. This makes them a good addition to any diet!
Microgreens are considered baby plants, falling somewhere between a sprout and baby green, but they shouldn’t be confused with sprouts which do not have leaves. Microgreens are usually harvested 7–21 days after germination, once the plant’s first true leaves have emerged.
So..... microgreens, more than just a garnish.
